Mane Mkrtchyan is a scientific researcher in arts and has overall 15 years of experience in management in the cultural sector. Since 2009 up to now she has been working in Armenian National Academy of Sciences, Institute of Arts, lecturing Cultural Management courses in Armenian State Pedagogical University. Mane is a Head of Marketing and PR Department of National Academic Theatre of Armenia.
Mane graduated from Yerevan State University in 2006 and got an MA in Art History. She accomplished her post-graduate courses in the Institute of Arts of National Academy of Sciences of Armenia and got her PhD degree in Arts in 2013. In 2008 Mane passed Theatre Management courses in Boston, MA, USA within USAID Community Connections Program. In 2012 she implemented a Personal Development Plan in art centres, museums and theatres of London, UK, as a winner of Cultural Leadership International Programme of British Council. She was Cultural Expert for Culture for Development Indicators for Armenia within European Union-Eastern Partnership Culture and Creativity Programme.
Mane was General Coordinator of International Theatre Festivals, Deputy Director for Science in Centre of Popular Creation and Deputy Director for Management in Hamazgayin Theatre after Sos Sargsyan.
Mane Mkrtchyan is the author of more than 15 scientific articles and a monograph.
